This was a personal project that I put together. I was initially inspired by a YouTube video posted by The AI Advantage. I was looking to explore how I can implement AI into my learning solutions and got inspired by this video. At the time, I knew nothing about Python and had zero knowledge about Github and Visual Studio Code, but I didn't let that stop me from staying curious and wanting to learn more. After following the steps of the video (and asking ChatGPT for some help along the way), I was able to create my own chatbot - something I would have never imagined doing!

I wanted to pass on this knowledge in a course to other Learning Designers, or anyone else interested in exploring the OpenAI API and creating a chatbot.

As usual, I used an iterative approach to creating this learning solution and applied feedback along the way. One of the main changes that I made between prototypes was the switch from D-ID to HeyGen for creating the talking Avatars. I found HeyGen easier to use and had more capabilities that I wanted to explore.
